I’m a DC baby with a passion for writing things that make me feel free and whole. Creatively, I use poetry, short story, and digital design to uplift the experiences and voices of Black femmes. In my editorial writing, I have focused on social justice issues facing Black people—particularly Black women, femmes, and girls— by analyzing compounding systems that govern our lives.

In April, I had the honor of being featured alongside other Black artists in the first issue of the Black Woman’s Latitude zine! You can find my two featured poems on my blog — and be sure to check out the entire issue.

In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be on the hunt for new writing challenges and other opportunities to get creative. Be sure to keep checking my blog and, in the mean time, see how you like my latest poetry challenge: Poem of the Day.
